Birthday Luxury in India

My twin sister Rachel and I spent our birthday in India this past May.  Even though we don’t live in the same city anymore, we have made it a goal to spend all our birthdays together, during this incarnation.  This has lead to reunions in far-away lands over the past two years.  No complaints here.

One of our destinations in India was Hampi which came highly recommended by a friend.  Located in the Karnataka state of India, Hampi is known for breathtaking ancient ruins, temples and monuments.  Also, rife with tales from past, these grounds were once the birthplace of Hinduism.

While searching for a place to stay, we stumbled upon Evolve Back Luxury Resorts website.  Rach and I were floored by the beauty of the resort, we could only daydream what the grounds were like in person.  Well, we could not leave this up to our imaginations, so we booked 2 nights at Evolve Back, Hampi!

The experience here was more than we could have expected.  Welcome drinks and tuberose leis.  Complimentary house-made sweet treats delivered to our room each day.  Beautiful coffee.  High tea and snacks.  A fantastic infinity pool every synchronized swimmer would want to swim in.  An incredible staff, notably the chefs who greeted our table during each meal to make sure we were enjoying the fare.  The list goes on.  My capacity for words will not do our time at this hideaway justice, and either will these pictures.  Regardless, please have a look at the palatial yet simple nature of this resort.  If you are traveling to Hampi, you really must stay here!
